MassCompile.zip is a zip file of all my source for the Easy Button Mass Compiler I call the "Easy Button".
It is parameter file driven and starts with a batch file. It allows us to compile our live and development WebSpeed AND Progress GUI code from a single interface. Using the batch file and parameter files, I am able to create a clean folder, get the source code from Source Safe, archive the old .r files, walk the tree and build a compile table based on the filters in the param file, compile the files in either a WebSpeed or GUI Progress app using the parameterized ProPath, create a batch file to copy of the created .r files to their proper locations, delete the old .r files and then copy the .r's to the proper folders.
It is all logged and archived so we can back out of anything/debug as needed.
The whole process takes 15 minutes to process 1,150 GUI Progress .p and .w files including setting up the environment, archiving, getting latest from source Safe, compiling and copying.
